Lexington music AI Identity checklist

For bands, solo acts, venues, and music businesses. Your AI Identity is what models and search compress about you when someone asks “who’s playing,” “best venue,” or your name.

Goal (one week): one clear sentence, consistent name/links, one page worth quoting, and Lexington/KY on the public file.

Day 1 — One sentence

  1. Write: who you are + what you play/offer + where (Lexington / central KY).
  2. Put it on your homepage or Linktree — not only in a buried bio.
  3. Same sentence on Instagram/Facebook “About” if you control them.

Day 2 — Name consistency

  1. Pick the public name (band/venue spelling) and stick to it.
  2. Fix old spellings on site, GB listings, Eventbrite, Facebook.
  3. Remove dead “next show” pages that still rank.

Day 3 — A page models can quote

  1. Publish or clean a simple page: sound/genre, typical rooms, booking contact, city.
  2. Use real words fans use — not only slogans.
  3. One clear booking email or form (no mystery DMs-only if you want discovery).

Day 4 — Shows & venues

  1. Upcoming dates in plain text somewhere crawlable (not only Instagram stories).
  2. Venue name + city on each listing.

Day 5 — Proof crumb

  1. One proof: press blurb, notable room, years active, EP link — with permission/date if quote.

Day 6 — Ask the machines

  1. Private window: “Who is [your name] Lexington KY music?”
  2. Note wrong genre, wrong city, missing site, competitor confusion.
  3. Fix only what you control this week.

Day 7 — Leave a trail

  1. Update one external listing.
  2. Optional deeper picture: free AI Identity Snapshot (Answer Authority).

You don’t create a reputation overnight — you grow it. Evidence planting beats after-the-fact props.
